Exam Fever.... Will Be Back Soon....

It has been sometime since I last posted something. No, I've not stopped creating jewelry. It's just that the exam fever is on! My kids exams are round the corner and I'm trying to stay focus in getting them/helping them in their revision.

When they were asleep, I create my jewelry, if inspiration comes and the mood is right - it's therapeutic! But I realised that inspiration comes more easily when the mind is not so tired and pressurized. So we'll see what happens these coming 3 weeks as the exams are approaching.....

5 earrings and 1 choker - that's what I've done last month but have not got time to post them on my blog. My hubby, usually hogs the laptop at night. He seems to have endless e-mails to clear, having just cleared them in office before coming back home less than 2 hrs ago. A bunch of workaholics indeed.

Charms

Got a request from my son to make some handphone charms for him to give away as Teachers' Day gifts. Have crafted these 4 different ones. Well, he liked the one with pink Swarovski butterfly crystal best and has given it to his most favourite teacher.

Recycleble Bags in Style

Got this recycleble eco-friendly bag online (actually my sister-in-law got it for me since she is getting hers too). Unlike the typical re-usable bags, this bag comes with stylish designs and colours, is lightweight (made of waterproof material like your umbrellas)and can be folded into a small roll which does not take up a lot of space in your handbag. It's so convenient and I bring it with me whenever I'm out. It's available on www.envirosax.com. There's plenty of designs to choose from and it took me quite some time to decide on this one.

Starry

Starry has a focal point of 5 black Swarovski crystals which are surrounded by tube and seed beads. Sparkling and spohisticated, Starry is suited for both office and casual wear. A versatile pair of earring.

Gummy Drop

These cat's eye beads remind me of gummy drops. Was organising my beads and happened to put these together in the same little bag. Thought what were in the little bag was a beautiful combination of green and pink. Teamed them up with kidney ear wires and the effect of the earring is simply yummy!

Sassy Lime

Irregular beads with a shade of green, flower-shaped spacers and metal chains formed this unassuming pair of earring. Total drop including ear wire measures about 4 cm. It's definitely a lovely addition to your casual collection.

Retro Pink

Got these acrylic beads (come in a pack of 3 colours) from a shop in Tokyo. Loved the simplicity of the beads with a hint of retro flavour. Each lovely pink stripped bead sits snuggly between 2 flower spacers. Definitely a fun pair of earring to have!
