Spotted this pupa hanging from my Pandan plant one day. Got excited and quickly called out to my kids to view this cute pupa! Snapped a picture and wanted to monitor the daily changes to the life cycle of the butterfly. Unfortunately, on the very next day, the butterfly has emerged from the crysalis and what was left was an empty membrane. What a great disappointment!

Oh my, what a waste, will be great if the kids can witness the life cycle of the butterfly. So lucky that it landed on your plant. I also would like to be able to catch a caterpillar and see how it turns to a butterfly.
Yeah, it might be a once in a life time chance. Strangely, I did not see the caterpillar. Only noticed the pupa.....
